Sameca TME began importing, processing and marketing self-adhesive tapes for technical applications over 50 years ago as the Adhesive Tapes Division of Sameca Sá e Castro Lda. Since 1982 it has been an independent company, majority owned by Sameca Investimentos e Gestão S.A.
The main products that it sells are self-adhesive tapes and foams for a wide range of technical and everyday applications, although the majority are designed for the building, furniture, interior decoration, automotive, textiles, leather goods and packaging industries and for general retail purposes.

Its experienced sales team, together with its head office and warehouse in Oporto and its Lisbon branch office, enable it to provide total, personalised coverage of the whole of Portugal.
Specialising in the industrial and wholesale market, it is the representative for products manufactured by the leading international companies in the field. It currently has a portfolio of approximately 2000 active customers, including multinationals and large certified companies.
